  • Writing a business plan is an important early step in starting or expanding your business. The plan will serve as your operating guide and is usually required if you are looking for financing from a public or private lender. Business Plan Outline.
  • Sample financial statements, such as the balance sheet, the income statement and the cash flow statement are an important part of your business plan. Information and samples for each of these documents.
